Milo, 2 year old Cocker X

Meet Milo, a 2yo Cockerpoo who at 17kg is the size of an adult Springer.

He will soon be looking for his forever home.

Milo is a very sweet friendly boy who loves cuddles, gets on great with dogs in the household and settles down quietly when nothing is happening.

He does however have a leaky bladder and is reactive towards dogs when out on walks.

We are trying him on different medications and herbal remedies to try and get his leaking to a minimum but it cannot be cured. It is what it is and his new owner will need to be patient and understanding with him. He currently wears belly-bands and incontinence pads when indoors and is not bothered by this. (They are usually removed when he goes out to play but sometimes he gets past me too quickly).

His dog reactivity is predominantly aimed at large black dogs but if he is offlead and sees any dog he will rush at them and bark at them. This will need time and training to overcome.

He is waslked on a halti and flexi-lead and is reeled in to get treats when a dog comes near. He is learning that this is a good thing.

An outdoorsy life would suit him best as the more time he spends outside the less he leaks indoors. He loves to run and explore but currently this can only be done where there is no danger of him meeting other dogs while off lead.

He would love to live with a friendly playful companion dog, but I wouldn’t recommend cats or small furries. He is very strong and bouncy so older children only to avoid injuries.

He is currently being fostered near Stirling in Scotland and any potential new owner must be prepared to travel to meet him. A homecheck and adoption donation will apply.
